This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Karen Galemba has been sculpting since May of 1988, when a horseback-related injury kept her out of the saddle for awhile. A four-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier, she has turned her love of horses to a career of immortalizing them in bronze. Although her first works were devoted to horses' she has branched out into wildlife as well as human situations.
