Born Jefferson County, Nov.18, 1881; died Kansas City, Jan. 18, 1931. Painter, specialized in miniatures, landscapes. Studied with Weber and at the Art Students League in New York and with Marie LaForge at the Academié Julian in Paris. Lived in New York in 1917 and worked with the Van Dyck Studios. Living in Pasadena, CA. in 1927.

Biography from Crocker Art Museum Store:
Painter. Born in Jefferson County, KS on Nov. 18, 1881.

Gray studied in Paris at Académie Julian and with Weber and Mme. Laforge. By 1911 she had settled in Pasadena.  Returning from a six-month trip around the world in 1926, she painted several canvases from sketches made on the trip.

She died on Jan. 18, 1931. Her work includes miniatures and landscapes.
