Lynn L. Gertenbach is a California impressionist landscape painter of
places near her home by Malibu State Park, near Los Angeles.
Gertenbach grew up in Racine, Wisconsin, and during high school lived in Denver, Colorado. She
received a commercial art degree from the Colorado Institute of Art in
1960 in Denver. She was tutored by John Jellico, the school's
founder who nominated her in 1996 for the Institute's Hall of Fame.
