Marina Timoshenko Goodier was born in St. Petersburg, Russia on February 11, 1906. She married James Norman Goodier in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1931. The couple later moved to California.
Goodier became a distinguished Stanford painter and was commissioned by Stanford University to paint a series of mural paintings. She spent over a year studying and painting the subject of the murals. The paintings are now part of the permanent collection on display in the Hercules Room at the Stanford Uni (showing 500 of 767 characters). |
