Born in Sivells Bend, Texas, Martha Graves became a painter of historical places of the Old Southwest. She began her career in Texas where she was a resident of El Paso and Ysleta. Then she moved to Wickenburg, Arizona in the 1930s, and following this period, settled in Ruidoso, New Mexico where she died in 1966.
Her work is in the Grammar School of Yslets. Exhibition venues included the Woman's Club of El Paso, Annual Texas Artists Exhibition, and the Ysleta Woman's Cl (showing 500 of 718 characters). |
