Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she studied art with Lila Hetzelat
at the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh. She also studied with Arthur
Dow and at Columbia Unversity in New York. Her reputation is for "small
impressionist interior scenes." Active in New York City, she exhibited
with the National Academy of Design in 26 annual exhibitions between
1921 and 1949. She was represented in New York by Grand Central Art
Galleries.
