Maurice Grossman (1927-Jan.21, 2010)
Maurice Grossman, a craftsman, social justice activist and University of Arizona professor emeritus, died Jan. 21, 2010 of complications following heart surgery. He was 82.
Grossman was born in Detroit and attended Wayne State University before moving to Tucson to teach in 1955. He started the ceramics program at the University of Arizona in 1956 and was an art professor for close to 35 years. After retiring, he continue (showing 500 of 1063 characters). |
