Nava Grunfeld, painter of hyper-intensely-colored watercolor still-lifes, was born in Stockholm, Sweden and lives in western Massachusetts. She received a B.F.A. degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, where she studied with Elizabeth Osborne, and an M.A. degree from Smith College. Artists Jean Dobie and Sondra Freckelton have been personally encouraging and helpful.
Grunfeld's favorite artists are colorists Matisse and Bonnard, but she also responds to the wor (showing 500 of 1433 characters). |
