| Painter. Born in Rugby, TN on May 27, 1896 of English and Canadian parents. Olive Graham spent her childhood in Ontario, Canada and, at age 16, entered a convent school in Dorreselle Abbey in Ghent, Holland. In 1919 she wed Frederick Fetherstonhaugh in NYC at the Little Church Around the Corner. Two years later the couple moved to San Francisco. There she began art studies at the CSFA under Boynton followed by study at the CCAC, and with Hans Hofmann at UC Berkeley. Moving across the bay to Belv (showing 500 of 866 characters). |
