| Born in Toledo, OH on May 18, 1906. Goldner first studied at the Toledo Museum School of Design and, about 1924, moved to Oakland for further study at the CCAC. He then moved to Hollywood where he was active as both puppeteer and as a special-effects artist at RKO Studios on such films as "King Kong." He was an art director at both the California-Pacific Int'l Expo of 1935 and the GGIE of 1939. He obtained his M.A. degree from Stanford University before entering the Navy at the onset of WWII (showing 500 of 933 characters). |
