The following information was submitted in November of 2006 by Jeanne Grover: He was born on August 5, 1912, in Rhode Island, and died November 6, 1991, in Massachusetts.
Goodridge served as Warrant Officer during WWII in Okinawa and the Philippines, where he created many portraits of the native people.
According to a student of his, Goodridge was trained in the Gloucester School of Outdoor Painting, founded by Emile Gruppe. He also studied with watercolor painter John (showing 500 of 950 characters). |
