| | Born in Rawlings, WY on Jan. 17, 1888. Genter studied at UCLA under Merrell Gage. While based in Denver, he lectured widely on ceramic art and was president of the Broadmoor Pottery Company. During the 1920s and 1930s he produced fountains for the city of Beverly Hills and for numerous hotels and public buildings in New Mexico, California, Kansas, Colorado, and Texas. He died in Kansas in November 1965.
