| Born in Tiflis, Russia on Oct. 11, 1900. Ganine began his art studies in Russia. After five years in the Belgian Congo, he immigrated to the U.S. and studied at the CGA. He settled in Los Angeles in 1932 and was active there until his death on Aug. 11, 1974. Exh: CGA, 1932 (prize); Calif.
