Philoma Colin Goldsworthy was born 4 April 1895 in Stockton, California the daughter of William J. and Louise Ann Lonigan Goldsworthy. Ms. Goldsworthy graduated from Pacific Grove High School in Pacific Grove, CA in 1914.
She was employed by the Stockton Herald in 1915. In 1916 and 1917, she was enrolled at San Jose State Normal University, where she received her teaching certificate, and was working as a teacher as early as 1918 when she gave her party affiliation as Republ (showing 500 of 2676 characters). |
