Rolland Golden describes his paintings that he does with a hard-edge
watercolor technique as abstract realism. His subjects are from
his native state of Louisiana, and he is especially committed to the
depiction of landscapes with roads.
"I am fascinated by roads," he says. " They are these man-made elements
running right through nature, and they are totally foreign to what's
around them. To me they have their own kind of beauty."
Although Golden is in m (showing 500 of 1141 characters). |
