Rudolf Gowenius (1896-1960)
Painter, graphic artist, born 1896 Öjebyn, Norrbotten, died 1960 in Stockholm. Studied at the Art Academy and in Paris. He has done frescoes in the churches of Paris and the French countryside, as well facade sculptures for the church in Cachan. In one of his self-invented technique, he has also made rich figurative paintings on velvet.
