SARAH M. GRAY (February 1832 – 1908)
Artist and painter. Born in Vermont, the daughter of Meribah Ryan (June 11, 1808 – November 16, 1887) and David Gray (June 16, 1804 – January 21, 1872). Her father was a wealthy merchant and slate manufacturer. The family resided in Hoosick Falls, Rensselaer County, New York.
