BIOGRAPHY:
Born in the Bronx of New York City, Sharon Gold is a painter and performance video artist who in her words "uses issues of gender and identity through de-constructed narrative constructs." She received her education in New York at Hunter College, City University of New York, Columbia University, and Pratt Institute where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1976.
She has been a lecturer, guest critic, and visiting artist in numerous colleges and universities and (showing 500 of 18764 characters). |
