|  Shirl Herbert Goedike was born in Los Angeles in 1923. Goedike studied at UCLA and the Art Center School in Los Angeles under Lorser Feitelson He spends half of each year on the Cote d’Azur.
Exhibited: Los Angeles County Museum of Art, 1955 (prize); Stanford University, 1956; California Palace of Legion of Honor, 1959 (solo); Whitney Museum, 1959; Santa Barbara Museum, 1959; San Jose Museum, 1979.
Works held: Pasadena Museum; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Palm Springs Museum.
