Theodore Glass was born in Lemberg, Austria on September 21, 1893. His family emigrated to America in 1906 and settled in Chicago. He was by trade a lithographer and commercial artist, but spent decades painting and drawing. His exhibitions in Chicago include the 1921 Introspective Artists, 1922 No-Jury Society of Artists, and the 1934 and 1940 International Watercolor Exhibitions at the Art Institute of Chicago.
After studying at the Art Institute, Theodore traveled to Europe in 1924 to (showing 500 of 1467 characters). |
