| Painter. Born in Indiana on Oct. 11, 1876.
Gray moved to San Francisco in 1915 and shared a studio in San Francisco with J. J. Englehart. He soon established a home and studio in San Diego.
He worked there as a framer while painting in his leisure. In 1922 he settled in Orange, CA where he remained until his demise on Jan. 1, 1962.
