Vincent Glinsky was born in Russia in 1895 and immigrated to America as a young man. There he underwent formal training at the Beaux Art Institute in New York. After receiving a prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship*, Glinsky left America to settle in Italy, and following that, in France, where he was accorded a one-man show.
Returning to America during the height of the Great Depression, Glinsky found work as a WPA* artist, and also as an architectural artist. As his reput (showing 500 of 2311 characters). |
