Born on Oct. 14, 1867 in Brighton, England. Gillam worked in England and Vancouver, BC before arriving in northern California in 1921. After settling in Burlingame, he was active in the San Francisco Bay area until the early 1940s. Gillam died in Sonoma County, CA on Feb. 10, 1962.
