Coming to Santa Fe from Brooklyn in 1985, he was taken with the light and the colors of the Southwest landscape. He loves to paint sky, adobe structures, and trees. He also travels throughout the country giving workshops.
His heritage is Russian Jewish and Polish. In 1916, his father emigrated from the Ukraine to New York where he met his Polish wife. Trained in New York City and Paris, Albert attended the Art Students League for three and a half years, and his most influential teacher wa (showing 500 of 1448 characters). |
