Beverly Hallam was born in 1923. She studied at the Massachusetts College of Art and Syracuse University and was the winner of many awards and prizes. Her work is found in the collections of Harvard University Art Museum, and the Corcoran Gallery.
From 1945-51 she painted figures and landscapes in oil, black oil and encaustic. Work in acrylic of flowers and ocean and rock formations followed. She has worked in high relief on stretched linen and in monotypes in oil, prin (showing 500 of 1187 characters). |
