Bonnie Hofkin's early experiences as a daughter of a medical doctor and a visit to the Academia in Florence, Italy helped to form her later passion for medical illustration.
Hofkin did not turn to art until her last year of undergraduate studies at the University of California in Berkeley. After graduation she enrolled at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena where she studied for three years. She next spent a year of premedical training at Berkeley. She finished her academic caree (showing 500 of 1051 characters). |
