| Painter. Born in Iowa City, IA on March 10, 1886.
Hobby attended the Cumming School of Art in Des Moines and ASL in NYC. He was a resident of Sar Diego during 1913-23 and then settled in San Francisco where he worked as an instructor at the Art Center.
He died in Santa Cruz, CA on May 19, 1964.
