Charles Albert Holder (1925-1998), American (painter, teacher)
He was born in Miami, Florida on June 15, 1925. He studied art at the University of Florida (B.F.A.), the Art Institute of Chicago, the Jerry Farnsworth School of Art, and was awarded the Henry White Taylor Scholarship in 1949.
Holder was a member of the prestigious Salmagundi Club in New York City, the Artist's & Craftmen Association, Dallas, Texas, and the Allied Artists of America. He exhibited at th (showing 500 of 1503 characters). |
