Charles Andrew Hafner-sculptor, painter teacher Born October 28 1888,Omaha NE,died July 29 1960 in NY.
He studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and Beaux Arts in Paris. In 1925, he was named instructor at the New York Evening Industrial School, and he also served as director of adult art classes of the University of the State of New York in 1933.
His work won the bronze medal at the Olympiade Art Exhibitio (showing 500 of 1029 characters). |
