| Painter, teacher. Born in Boise, Idaho on July 31, 1897. Following graduation from Boise High School, Hart studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and University of Washington. During the teens she opened a studio in Boise and spent one year in Paris at Académie Delecluse. For two years she taught art in the schools of Tulsa, OK. Summers during the 1920s were often spent in California on the Monterey Peninsula. While a resident of Carmel, Hart was a pupil of Pedro (showing 500 of 1042 characters). |
