| Born in Newark, New Jersey, Daniel Huntington settled in Seattle, Washington where he was known as a painter and architect. He was a student of Eustace Ziegler and a member of the Pacific Northwest Academy of Arts and the Seattle Fine Arts Society.
In Woodland Park in Seattle, he worked with Alice Carr to execute a fountain and Harding Memorial.
