| Daphne Huntington works with her sister, Virginia Epler, and together, the sisters studied painting at Slades, and stained glass at the London School of Arts and Crafts in London, England, and the Ecole de Louvre in Paris, France. They are direct descendants of the artist brothers, T.C. Farrer and Henry Farrer, renowned etchers and painters.
Venetia and Daphne designed 24 stained glass windows for the Science of Mind church in Beverly Hills, and stained glass windows and an altar piece for the St. Augustine Church, East Los Angeles. Their first window design was the "Good Shepherd" for the Child's Chapel in the Old Crusader's Church in Compton, England.
Among the sisters' achievements are two huge oil on canvas pieces that have been re-created in tesserae by Italian mosaicists. The most recent, "Life of Christ Mural" was dedicated in 1993 as the mosaic façade of the mausoleum for Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando, Florida. The first, a totally different "Life of Christ Mural," finished in the early 1970's, still serves as the world's largest religious mosaic and is the facade of the Christian Heritage Mausoleum at Forest Lawn in West Covina, California. The piece measures 30' x 180'.
For a time the sisters worked as lay out and background artists in the motion picture industry; some of Venetia's work is immortalized in the original Paramount Pictures animated version of Charlotte's Web.
Their work is represented in permanent collections including the San Bernadino County Museum, Redlands, and the De Saisset Gallery, Santa Clara Museum and the Mary Pickford Collection. Both sisters are Fellows of the American Artists Professional League and the American Institute of Fine Arts. They are members of the National League of American Pen Women, Artists of the Southwest, the California Arts Club and the San Gabriel Fine Arts Association.
Venetia's portraits include that of former President Dwight D. Eisenhower which hangs in the White House; Ambassador Peter J. Valez de Silva, in the Embassy Malta to Guatemala, and Superior Court Judge Macintyre Faries, in the Occidental College Library.
They are included in Who's Who in American Art, Who's Who in California, and Who's Who in the West, among others. They have won many First Place Awards and Gold Medals including that of the European Academy of the Art and Accademia Italia. They are referenced in the national magazine for The National League of American Pen Women.

The sisters are currently working on a book entitled, Angels of the Bible. Both are working on the illustrations. Venetia has painted 32 oil on canvas and Daphne is writing the text. A second book is also in the works: The Adventures of Daniel, illustrated mostly by Venetia and written by Daphne.
