This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she moved to Hastings, Nebraska from Washington D.C. in 1979 after a long career in the East. From 1915 to 1920, she had studied at the Art Students League in New York City under Thomas Fogarty, Harvey Dunn and Charles Chapman.

In 1986, a retrospective exhibition of her work was held at the Hastings Public Library.
