| A key figure along with Boardman Robinson at the Broadmoor Art Academy
and Colorado Springs Fine Art Center in the 1930s, Elizabeth Hare was a
painter who exhibited in 1915 with the Society of Independent Artists
in New York Cith. However, she was more noted for her
philanthropy and organizational abilities in the arts. She moved
from the East Coast to Colorado in 1928 with her husband who had been
prescribed the mountain climate for his tuberculosis. She was
from a weal (showing 500 of 2779 characters). |
