| Best known for desert landscapes, Francis Healy was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and studied at the St. Louis School of Fine Arts. He was a member of the Dauber's Club and the ST. Louis Architectural Club.
In the 1920s, he traveled in Arizona, and one of his resulting paintings was Castle in the Arizona Sky.
