Frank Hazell (1883-1958)
He was an illustrator and landscape artist who worked in
watercolor and oil. His works were often pastoral scenes, but he
also painted seaports and buildings of architectural interest.
Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1883, Mr. Hazell moved to New York
City in 1910 to further his study at The Art Students’ League with
Francis Luis Mora. He lived and worked in New York for the rest
