| | Born in St Louis, MO on June 7, 1901, the daughter of artist Minerva B. Hamilton. Genevieve studied at the CSFA, UC Berkeley, Chouinard Art School and in NYC at the Cooper Union and with Archipenko. In 1916 her family established Hamilton Tiles in Los Angeles which produced figurines, tableware, tiles, and other ceramics until closing in 1930.
