George T. Hilliard was born June 19, 1919, Boston, MA; arrived in Rockport, Feb. 1946 after 42 months in the E.T.O. with "C" Co., 56th Signal Bn. V Corps, U.S.Army. In course of service, had the G.I. tour from Belfast, North Ireland, across Europe to Pilsen, Czechoslovakia; during tour of duty maintained his interest in the arts exhibitions in several Red Cross Armed Forces Art Exhibits.
