Georgia Hoopes was born in San Diego, California early in the 20th Century. She began painting at at early age and continued developing her skills throughout her school years. She developed her own style of seascape painting under the long time tutorage of well known artist Floyd C. Chandler.
She spent years living in rural Utah were she developed a skill for painting mountain and winter scenes. Hoopes exhibited widely in the San Diego and Southern California areas. She paints primarily (showing 500 of 780 characters). |
