|  A painter, illustrator and newspaper artist at the Boston Art Club, Gordon Hansen studied at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston (1925-1932). He was also staff illustrator for the Boston Herald Traveler from 1928 to 1967, and created magazine covers including for "New Yorker" and "Cosmopolitan." |
