This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Born in Kansas on Feb. 13, 1895. Hohberger settled in Salinas, CA about 1929. She taught voice as a profession while painting in her leisure, having studied with Lee Randolph and Hoyland Bettinger. Many trips were made to Arizona, New Mexico, and the Indian country of the Southwest where she obtained much of her subject matter. She died in Salinas on May 31, 1985. Member: Salinas FA Club (pres.).
