Helen Luton Hafer was born in California on July 19, 1914. Hafer was a painter of California landscapes and still life works. By the early 1920's she had settled in, and was active in Southern California. She studied at the Chouinard Institute in Los Angeles, and privately with Harry Emerson Lewis.
For many years Hafer was the Director of Arts for the Orange County Fairs. She taught art at YMCA's in both Orange and Santa Ana, Calif (showing 500 of 935 characters). |
