| Born in Marysville, CA on March 23, 1860. Haskell graduated from San Francisco High School and UC in the 1880s. While studying art in Paris, she met artist Stephen Seymour Thomas whom she married at Brompton Church in London in 1892. After their marriage, they lived in Paris and NYC before moving to southern California in 1915. The couple built a home on seven acres in La Crescenta where she remained until her death on May 5, 1942. A well-known portrait of her by he (showing 500 of 720 characters). |
