| Helene DuBon Hyde (1899-1988) was born January 2, 1899. She was also known as Helene DuBon and Helene D. Hyde. Hyde studied at Pratt Institute and at the Art Student's League with Robert Henri, Irving Wiles, and George Bridgman. She studied in France with William Merritt Chase and later painted in Maine with Marsden Hartley. She is a well known American modernist and printmaker with a growing body of followers.
