Known for his paintings in bright colors of African-American figures,
Ivey Hayes is from North Carolina where he received his BA degree from
North Carolina Central University and in 1975, his MA degree from the
University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
He received the Presidential and Celebrity awards at the North Carolina
Azalea Festival Master Arts Exhibit held in Wilmington, NC. The
Charlie Rose Show has featured his artwork, and it has been exhibited
at the US Capit (showing 500 of 1102 characters). |
