| Born in Philadelphia, James Henry Haseltine was a portrait sculptor of historical figures including General Philip Sheridan and of patriotic genre such as "America Honoring Her Fallen Brave,"at the Philadelphia Union League Club.
He studied in Philadelphia with Joseph Bailly and in Paris and Rome. He exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy and died in Rome in 1907. |
