The following is from the artist, February 2005. Janet G Smith, (aka Janet G. Stevens and Jan Holmquist), was born in Lincoln, Nebraska to E. Stevens and E. Dinsmoor. Her art talent came from the 'Stevens' of Europe and her maternal grandfather, 'Samuel Dinsmoor'. Dinsmoor sculpted "The Garden of Eden" in Lucas, Kansas. She has one son Clifton, who is a fisherman, photographer and artist in Alaska.
