Jean Joseph Hoslet (1899-1981)
Painter of figures, still lifes, landscapes and marine watercolorist and lithographer.
Student at Academy of Ixelles and Saint-Josse-ten-Node.
Landscapes of Provence are executed in a post-impressionist, expressionist style.
With other Belgian painters, he exhibited in Japan in 1952. He was curator of the Museum of Ixelles and board member of the Belgian National Arts.
