This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Jocelyn Hobbie graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1991. She paints elegantly and meticulously drawn paintings on wood panels using egg tempera. Her delicately stylized figures in landscapes reminds the viewer of Brueghel, Tanguy, Persian miniatures and even cartoons.
