| Born in Sheffield, England, John Harmstone became a painter and sculptor who studied at the Royal College of Art in London. He emigrated to Massachusetts and became a designer for Gorham & Company and Tiffany and Company, specializing in enamel gold and silverware.
He was a member of the Boston Society of Arts and Crafts. His work is in the Genealogical Society in Boston. |
